The spaceship of Zamara is launching again on October 15th 2025 with the release of Volume 4 of “LUX:plorations – A Universe of Research”. It features short comics about science and research in Luxembourg, each of which is developed collaboratively by two doctoral candidates working together with a Luxembourgish comic artist and the LUX:plorations team.

If you are visiting the Comic-Salon Erlangen, you can grab your copy of the LUX:plorations comics at Véro Mischitz stand (hall B, stand 54). Our beloved mentor will also be part of a panel discussing science comics. It will take place on Sunday, June 02 2024, 11:00 AM at the Kollegienhaus, KH 1.012.
From 16 December 2023 – 17 January 2024 you can see the LUX:plorations Vol. 3 science comic exhibition at the Luxembourg Science Centre. You can even visit two short science workshops to explore the science of brain organoids and cooperation further (16 and 30 December).

During the Portes Ouvertes Luxembourg on 17 September 2023 at the Campus Kirchberg you will have the chance to create your own comic character. From 11:00 – 15:00 Andy Genen will carry out this drawing animation. This activity is for all ages and requires no previous artistic knowledge.
LUX:plorations Volume 3 will be released on 20th September 2023. Join the release event from 16:30 in Café Saga, Belval to meet the people behind the comics and learn more about this science comic series.
